As the link provided shows, the answer is ambiguous and depends on the version of Excel used. Option A for Excel 2016. Option B for Excel 2013.

I believe Option B also right, however option A is also correct. Any suggestions?

That option isn't available in the Power Pivot menu

In Excel 2013, Option B is definitely available. Powerpivot > Tables > Update All. I think Option A is the solution in Excel 2016.

Very confusing because in the link they attached it is "at the first view" also mentioned to use the Refresh (All) Button. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/refresh-an-external-data-connection-in-excel-1524175f-777a-48fc-8fc7-c8514b984440?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

I was thinking it was using the same logic as how Power BI connects to an Azure SQL Database and how Power BI can support live data with a connection to Azure SQL database. But, I was able to find this article referencing Excel Online and Azure SQL database that also states to refresh the connections. This question is really confusing... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/troubleshoot/excel-online-refreshing-data-to-a-sql-azure-database
