The correct answer is No. Using only the word "run" in the search will not get any results for the Categorized Search but will get result in the Relevance Search.

The key here in question is - search based on multiple entities. Quick find is single entity search and so it wont work. Categorized search is multi entity quick find and so the right answer.

For Categorised Search, "running" would need to be the first word in the Note to be able to find it by typing in the word "run" (you would need to type *run). Only Relevance Search would allow you to search using just "run". Notes entity has to be configured for for either Search first.

Relevance Search (including text in notes, attachments in an e-mail or appointment) While the Quick Find only applies to searching the entity you are on, Categorized Search allows you to search across multiple record types all at the same time. Answer is No(B)

Sorry, I'm still little bit confused about this answer. The question is about the CATEGORIZED search. By design, the CATEGORIZED search works with a partial string, but don't on Note entity. So, the answer A could be correct only if the Note entity is configured for CATEGORIZED search, but the question don't say nothing about this. So, using CATEGORIZED search out of the box without any customization, It doesn't work on Note and the answer should "No". I'm right?

If you write some word before you set Categorized search - it will not show any result. You should set Categorized search firstly, then write word in note. After that, in search result you will see just word, that you wrote after set search. Any words that you wrote before setting - not shown.

It depends on where exactly the word 'running' is located in note text. In categorized search, when you search for 'run', if note text starts with 'Running' it will appear in the result. If note text is like 'I am running', it will not be shown under the results.

I have used Categorized search lately. It ALLOWS you to search: part of the string, and you will get results. Please try it. :)

I selected Note entity for the Categorized search in Settings-->Administration--> System Settings-->General tab I created 3 records with different versions of running word position in the notes. Only 1 of the notes had the work RUN in the title. I searched for *run*, *run and run. All three returned the search results. *run, *run* returned all 3 records. The search with just run returned the record where RUN was in the title of the note.

As you said, Here is the reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/user/quick-find "With categorized search, you can search for rows that begin with a specific word or use a wildcard character." So correct answer is YES. It is possible to search "run" in case you configured NOTE Entity to be one of the Categorized Search Entities
