think we need to setup a reservationon the mac address for the printer.

Based on the information available I think you're right. It can't be to add a scope exclusion, as based on the policy it shouldn't be getting an IP from Scope 1 anyway. It says all other devives (which the printer falls under) should have an IP from a certain range. A MAC address reservation would achieve this.

I agree with you guys, but the question asks about a method to "ensure" that Print1 adheres to the policy for allocating IP addresses, so setup a reservation would be the best answer. The scope exclusion does not ensure how the printer IP will be set.

question: All client computer must receive IP addresses from Scope1 its not saying the other devices should get ipadres from dhcp scope so an exclusion does the trick so i think B like fcoolen

There's not stated that the network devices need IP config from dhcp. If you set a fixed ip for the printer, all you need is an exclusion range for servers and network devices on the existing scope. So, B. Add-DhcpServerv4ExclusionRange is correct
