this is a rather easy example to work out/guess. since its 25 this means there are 25 1s at the beginning of the subnet mask /24 is 255.255.255.0 or class c subnet mask. /25 is 1 one in the 4th octet. which is 128. /26 would be two 1s in the fourth octet which would be 192 (168+64). /32 would be a 1 in all 8 bits in the 4th octet which would be 255 (128+64+32+16+8+4+2+1) again in the fourth octet, /32 means 32 1s for all 32 bits of the entire ip address. In the real world use a calculator but I hope i kindve explained how to do the math for the exam? Its easier to understand that explain unfortunately which is the problem with this. when you get it you just get it then. I was taught it 3 times in 3 different courses before it clicked.
