Ans should be 6-5-3-4 Synonyms have to be edited in PowerBI desktop first...

For sure 6,5,3,4. Deleting the app is unnecessary, so I am surprised by this proposed answer :D

I think 6-5-3 is ok, no need 4, once you publish the app, dashboard will be updated by itself.

Using Synonyms in Microsoft Power BI Q&A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOg8DTKGH40 way 1: Q&A Gear Icon -> Teach Q&A -> Field synonyms -> Select “Field name”, Fill the “Terms” , and Add; way 2: The other way in a relationship mode/view -> select the “Field”, pop up “Properties” and then fill “synonyms”. step1 Open PBI desktop step 2 Add Synonyms step3 Publish to powerbi.com (App workspace) step 4 Update App

Synonyms can be edited in the Model View pane, under Properties in Power BI Desktop & can defined in the Teach Q&A tab within the Setup Q&A option.

Ans should be 6-5-3-4 First user need to open the report in Power BI desktop to edit the synonyms for the Client table under Modelling tab->Q&A setup-> Synonyms. Then re-publish the report to App workspaces to show the new changes done in the synonym. As a final step to show the changes for the Power BI service user, need to update the app from powerbi.com

I think the correct one is 5-4-3-6 . Open the report in Desktop -> create synonym -> publish the updated report to Workspace -> Republish the APP

Why "Delete and Publish the app" in first position ? Anyone knows ?? What is the point of it if the next step is to change settings in Power BI desktop ... ??

I also did not get the "Delete and Publish the app" thing... why would you publish what you have just deleted? especially when you need to edit it before re-publishing... Would also like an answer to this question.

6-5-3-4 is a correct sequence. We should set synonyms from modeling pane (properties).

To add synonyms, in Power BI Desktop go to Model view, select the Modeling tab, and select a field or table. The Properties pane shows the Synonyms box, where you can add synonyms. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/natural-language/q-and-a-best-practices
