i go with NO NO NO Admin2 can't sign in to Device1. Admin2 can't sign in to Device2. User1 can't sign in to Device1. Only the user who performs an **Entra Join** becomes local admin. (Device1 = Admin1) A *Cloud Device Admin* can manage devices in the portal but has no local sign-in rights A **registered device ≠ joined device** – it does **not** allow local login. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/devices/assign-local-admin https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/role-based-access-control/built-in-roles#cloud-device-administrator https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/devices/concept-azure-ad-register

Answer is incorrect, it should be NNY. The Cloud Device Administrator role allows the user to manage devices in Microsoft Entra ID (like resetting or deleting them), but does not grant sign-in rights to the device unless: The device is Microsoft Entra joined, and The user is added to the local administrators group via Intune or Entra settings.

I think it's wrong Can Admin2 sign in to Device1 (Microsoft Entra joined device)? Yes Explanation: Any user in the tenant can sign in to a Microsoft Entra joined device by default, unless restricted by Conditional Access policies. Can Admin2 sign in to Device2 (Microsoft Entra registered device)? No Explanation: Only the user who registered the device (or those explicitly granted access) can sign in to a Microsoft Entra registered device (BYOD). Can User1 sign in to Device1 (Microsoft Entra joined device)? Yes Explanation: Any user in the tenant can sign in to a Microsoft Entra joined device by default, unless restricted by Conditional Access policies.
