And in case of doubt - "Files in an Azure file share can be accessed directly with SMB or the FileREST protocol, although we encourage you to primarily access the files through the Windows Server cache when the Azure file share is being used with Azure File Sync. This is because Azure Files today lacks an efficient change detection mechanism like Windows Server has, so changes to the Azure file share directly will take time to propagate back to the server endpoints." https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/file-sync/file-sync-planning

Selected Answer: A
Answer A. You can sync the files from the local server to an Azure File share. If the File server were to go down, you would still have the Azure File share in place.

Recovery services vault is used for BCDR scenarios. Azure File Sync works with Azure File shares, not with Azure blob containers. Answer is A for sure

Answer: Option A. Because there is not need of RSV if the requirement is just accessing file share. Azure File share is accessible via SMB protocol.

Besides, the current server is a "file server" and thus accessed via SMB. Blob storage can't be accessed with SMB.
