Here is the issue. Integer is NOT a selectable thing in Dataverse, you can select Number and then the type of number, which is Whole Number, which essentially means Integer. So the wording all over the place is horrible. But whole number means integer, but if you go by whats in the UI, you have to say Whole Number, not integer. So do you go with the UI, do you go with the docs, do you go with knowing what an integer is.. who knows.. but the default configuration of a Whole Number, is an Integer for SQL Server. So INT is it as Whole Number is more.. a description than a data type.
