Answer is no because. Fabrikam are 'publishing' the files. Contoso need to trust the publisher. So the answer is: from CONTOSO, you configure fabrikam as a trusted publisher

Sorry, wrong interpretation from my side. There are two possible solutions and these are configure either a TPD or a TUD, but these configurations are performed on the opposite sides like this: Solution 1: Adding to the Trusted Publishing Domain list is done on the Trusted Domain side (contoso.com). First, on the trusting domain side (fabrikam.com) an export of a TPD file (contains SLC with private key) is needed, before configuring TPD on the trusted domain side (contoso.com). Solution 2: Adding to the Trusted User Domain list is done on the Trusting Domain side (fabrikam.com). First, on the trusted domain side (contoso.com) an export of a TUD file (contains SLC without private key) is needed, before configuring TUD on the trusting domain side (fabrikam.com). So, the answer is correct (B. No).

From my understanding: The answer is correct (B. No), but the reason is that the configuration must be performed on the Trusted Domain (contoso.com), which could be either adding the Trusting Domain (fabrikam.com) to the Trusted User Domain (TUD) list or Trusted Publisher Domain (TPD) list. There are configuration steps needed on the trusting domain side (fabrikam.com) as well that consist of an export of either a TUD file (contains SLC without private key) or a TPD file (contains SLC with private key), before configuring either TUD or TPD on the trusted domain side (contoso.com). I am under the impression that: TPD is used to configure your Local AD RMS setup to Trust another Organization's AD RMS setup; all this, in order to allow your Local AD RMS to issue "Use Licenses" that have been "Published" by the other Organization's AD RMS. TUD is used to configure you Local AD RMS setup to Accept "Use License Requests" from users whose "Rights Account Certificate" was issued by another Organization's AD RMS Setup. Could someone Link something to clear this up? Documentation seems to be rather sparse on this topic. Thanks..
