After re-reading the question I can see why Get-MobileDevice is correct. several devices have stopped connecting, so the IT admin needs to work out what policy(s) are applied to the problem devices, and if the devices are still registered.

Get-MobileDeviceMailboxPolicy A Mobile Device mailbox policy is a group of settings that specifies how mobile devices enabled for Exchange ActiveSync connect to the computer running Exchange. Exchange supports multiple Mobile Device mailbox policies. The Get-MobileDeviceMailboxPolicy cmdlet displays all the policy settings for the specified policy. These settings include password settings, file access settings and attachment settings. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/Exchange/clients/exchange-activesync/mobile-device-mailbox-policies?view=exchserver-2019 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/get-mobiledevice?view=exchange-ps
