• If a folder or file is copied, the new folder or file will automatically acquire the permissions of the drive or folder to which it is being copied. • If a folder or file is moved within the same volume, the folder or file will retain the same permissions that were already assigned. This file was moved so it retains its permissions - READ

When copying and moving files, the following three scenarios can result: • If a folder or file is copied, the new folder or file will automatically acquire the permissions of the drive or folder to which it is being copied. • If a folder or file is moved within the same volume, the folder or file will retain the same permissions that were already assigned. • If a folder or file is moved from one volume to another volume, the folder or file will automatically acquire the permissions of the drive to which it is being moved.

A, because the folders are on the same volume. By default, an object inherits permissions from its parent object, either at the time of creation or when it is copied or moved to its parent folder. The only exception to this rule occurs when you move an object to a different folder on the same volume. In this case, the original permissions are retained. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/windows-security/permissions-on-copying-moving-files
