Ans is B. You have several reports and dashboards in a workspace. You need to grant all organizational users read access to a dashboard and several reports. DashboardS ReportS are in a workspace. But access should be given to Dashboard ReportS If we publish app and give access to everybody - they will have access to everything. Now if we select ReportS and Dashboard for the App, that no longer is one step - It is 2 steps. Selection of right reports and then publish the app.

"An app can have ONE OR MORE dashboards and ONE OR MORE reports, all bundled together. Apps are created by Power BI designers who distribute and share the apps with their colleagues." https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-apps#what-is-a-power-bi-app

There is an option to "include in app" or not for both reports and dashboards - so looks like A is very much a viable solution.

In the navigation pane, you can hide some dashboards and reports. So not all the reports of workspace will be published on app.. So A is still popssible to me . Please correct me if I am wrong

why 2 steps matter? i think publishing app already implies that the content inside are selectable

When we publish an app, it's a mandatory step to choose the material to include. He would anyway go 2 steps - whether he'd choose all dashboards in the workspace or some specific ones.

I thin solution A could be correct too, if someone knows why B please explain? when we publish an app we can choose to give read access to the entire organization

the key words for what B is a correct answer is "several reports", when you publish an app, right now only can for a report and not for several reports

We can add multiple reports to an app. So A could be the correct answer too. but I don't know how we will include a dashboard in this category. so, for me the answer is B.

Yes i think A is correct. I know still need to grant access to entire organization and select which reports and dashboards to include in the app but i interpret publishing an app to the entire organization means doing all the required steps.

Selected Answer: A
An organizational app is available to Power BI users in your organization. These apps also include pre-built dashboards and reports that you can use as-is or customize and share. Your organization may have apps for things like tracking sales, measuring performance, or analyzing hiring success.

Selected Answer: A
For me it is clear that answer is A. In Microsoft Power BI documentation we can read: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-apps#what-is-a-power-bi-app By using an app, it's easier for designers to manage permissions on these collections since the app can have permissions that are different than those set on the workspace. ... An app combines related content -- dashboards, spreadsheets, datasets, and reports -- all in one place. An app can have one or more of each content type, all bundled together

The answer is A. "By using an app, it's easier for designers to manager permissions on these collections since the app can have permissions that are different than those set on the workspace." Thus, even though the reports are in the same workspace you can create an app and grant permissions to selected reports.

The trick part of this question is that the requirement is "grant all organizational users read access", but in the solution part, it didn't mention what permissions were granted.

No.. To grant user rights you need to tick "Allow all users to connect to the app's underlying datasets using the Build permission".. Only publishing is not enough.

Selected Answer: B
the question says you need to grant "ALL ORGANIZATIONAL USERS" read access and not the "ENTIRE ORGANIZATION". This sounds like there are specific staff that require the use and not all staff of the organization. Solution: You publish an app to the entire organization.

Answer A 1. "Apps are created in workspaces, where members can collaborate on Power BI content with their colleagues before publishing the finished app to individuals, large groups of people in an organization, or an entire organization. By using an app, it's easier for designers to manager permissions on these collections since the app can have permissions that are different than those set on the workspace." 2. Does it meet the goal? and Answer is Yes it does.. It doesn't give any specific input beyond that.

After you install an app, you don't have to remember the names of a lot of different dashboards or reports because they're all together in one app, in your browser or on your mobile device
