You are a Dynamics 365 Finance systems analyst.

A. A batch processing window may be set up for that batch job: If a batch processing window is configured, the batch job may only run within the specified time frame. If the alert job is scheduled to run outside of this window, the alerts won't be processed until the next available window. D. There may not be a batch server assigned to the batch job: If a batch server is not assigned to the batch job responsible for processing alerts, the job won't run, and alerts won't be processed. Ensure that a batch server is assigned to handle the batch job for alerts.

Option B is incorrect because the date format in the Dynamics 365 tenant not matching the format in the client device would not affect the processing of alerts. Alerts are processed by the server, not the client device. Option C is incorrect because change-based alerts do not expire. Change-based alerts are triggered when a specific event occurs, such as when a record is created, updated, or deleted. They do not have an expiration date.

The correct answers are A and D. A batch processing window may be set up for that batch job, which means that the alerts will only run during a specified time interval. There may not be a batch server assigned to the batch job, which means that the alerts will not run at all. The date format in the Dynamics 365 tenant does not affect the alerts, as long as the user has set up the alert rule correctly with the delivery date field. The change-based alert has expired is not a valid reason, because change-based alerts do not have an expiry date.

My answer is A\D . We did forget to put AOS batch server into batch group in that tab. I once did that. So D is one option. C is not changed-base, it is due date type. So C is not correct.

Batch jobs are not assigned to batch servers. Batch jobs are assigned to batch groups, batch groups are assigned to batch servers. So D is incorrect. That leaves A+C based on the rest of the discussion
