D is not correct because DIXF is used in AX 2012. DMF is for D365 and DMT for AX 2009.

Selected Answer: CD
A. Data Migration Tool (DMT) – WRONG There is no specific Microsoft tool named "Data Migration Tool" (DMT) for AX 2009 to D365. Data migration is supported using Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) or custom scripts after staging. B. Lifecycle Services Code upgrade tool for AX 2009 – WRONG The LCS code upgrade tool only supports AX 2012 R3. AX 2009 is not directly supported. Code must be first upgraded to AX 2012. C. Upgrade code: AX 2009 → AX 2012 → D365 – CORRECT AX 2009 code needs to be upgraded to AX 2012 format first. From there, it can be upgraded using LCS tools into Dynamics 365. D. Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) – CORRECT The supported approach for migrating transactional and master data from AX 2009 is to export it to staging and then use DIXF in D365 for import. A data migration project is typically built in LCS for this purpose.

Only A looks correct to me. Can't be B and D, and C looks sooooo stupid and expensive, eventhough it's possible. Seriously, do never say that to the client.. ! It looks like there must be a E answer stating "Compare the AX2009 AOT extensions with D365 code source"...

I would recommend A and D, as it would take a lot of effort to upgrade to 2012 and then to D365. I am selecting D because I think it will be easier to export data using simple export jobs or export to excel in AX 2009, then create template in D365 and import them using DIXF.
