Microsoft Azure Microsoft Flow Microsoft Azure is used to implement user authentication in a Power Platform environment because it provides a secure way to authenticate users, such as using Azure Active Directory. This allows you to control access to the Power Platform environment and ensure that only authorized users can access it. Microsoft Flow is the correct option to send data to a Microsoft OneNote notebook in the same tenant because it is a workflow automation tool that allows you to automate repetitive tasks and integrate with other services, such as OneNote. It allows to create a flow that can take data from other sources and send it to OneNote notebook, which can be in the same tenant.

The second answer to me is wrong. We are only sending data, not automating a process

"Microsoft Azure" is such an ambiguous answer that it is impossible to be the correct one. In my opinion, the correct answers are: 1. Custom connector 2. Microsoft Flow (Power Automate)

There is no way a custom connector can be used internally without AAD permissions being involved.

That's not true, you can use API Key or Standard Auth for Custom Connectors, Azure AD is not required.

The company already is implementing Power Apps in a Power Platform environment (which means model driven app will be there already), You need to implement other required components (other than model driven app so it would be Microsoft Flow aka Power Automate)

1. Microsoft Azure 2. model-driven app. There is native integration with OneNote (provided you already set up SharePoint integration) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/set-up-onenote-integration-in-dynamics-365

That answer says "Microsoft Azure", not "Azure Active Directory", therefore "Microsoft Azure" is incorrect.
