Again. SSAS (with Analysis into the Model) just --> "Live Connect" , becoz we just grab the Analysis and use it (no need to do the Modeling thing again). SQL Server (#1, GateWay) --> DirectQuery, becoz we use "Query" to directly visit all those data located into SQL database (not importing them into PBI due to too heavy). Hope it would help.

If you want to obtain current data use "Live Connection" with Analysis Services (SSAS) and with SQL Server, use "Direct Query."

Why is this not DirectQuery, does anybody have any Microsoft documentation on Connect Live Option.

DirectQuery is for SQL server. For SSAS you need Live connect to get current data.
