The Correct answer is "no" . Please read this article . https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-excel-workbook-files we need to click on Import to create powerview sheets as reports . clicking connect will put your workbook into powerbi - just like excel online.

The illustration in the article appears to describe from Excel to PBI. Further down it covers PBI pull in Excel, however not explicit for Connect v Import. to me it seems connect is the only option when pulling SharePoint in from PBI.

Even so, this pulls in as a workbook, not a Report, so does not meet objective. Answer is correct.

The answer is “YES” because when choosing to get data from SharePoint Online there is not an “Import Option” only *Connect* which leads you to enter the URL of the file you want to get into power BI

Answer is not Yes. After you enter the URL for the sharepoint site and navigate and find your xls file you will be presented with the options to Import and Connect. Here we need to Import so that new reports can be built on top of the imported data.

This is also the same as question 52 on pg 11. ***Since the Import, rebuilds the power view sheets as reports the answer is YES, using Connect will not rebuild the power view sheets.

"No" is correct, as the constraint is "You need to recreate the Power View sheets as reports in the Power BI service." e.g. you have to import.
