It's C. 1. User Choosing this scope means the workflow will run only on the records owned by the same user as the workflow user. 2. Business Unit This means the workflow will run on all records owned by the users of the same business unit as the workflow user. 3. Parent: Child Business Unit With this, the workflow will run on the records owned by the users of the same business unit as the workflow user as well as any child business units. 4. Organization The workflow will run on records owned by any user in CRM. Since it will trigger for all records, organization scope is the most used scope option.

Yes it is C, both of the links confirm that it's records owned by the Workflow User that will be updated (User B), not the Workflow Owner (User A)

No, actually it must be B. More info from the links that have been provided. For async workflows: * if run on demand by User, then it's that User's security that applies * if triggered automatically, then it's the WF Owner's security that applies Well, who knew

Workflow will be triggered only on the records owned by the owner of the WF. So, the correct answer is B

I vote for B, in this case, the workflow is a background workflow. When a background workflow starts based on an event the workflow operates in the context of the person who owns it, usually the person who created the workflow. For real-time workflows you have the Execute As option and you can choose whether the workflow should apply the security context of the owner of the workflow or the user who made changes to the record. If your workflow includes actions which all users would not be able to perform based on security constraints, you should choose to have the workflow run as the owner of the workflow.

B is correct. Records owned by UserA should be the correct answer. [‎5/‎24/‎2019 12:21 PM] Preeti Gupta: https://www.sherweb.com/blog/dynamics-365/workflow-scope-security-dynamics-365/
