You have an Azure subscription that contains 10 virtual machines on a virtual network. You need to create a graph visualization to display the traffic flow between the virtual machines. What should you do from Azure Monitor?
C is incorrect. Once you enable Log Analytics, you can create Workbooks with various Metrics and view in a graphical way and D is the correct answer
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/visualizations
there is apparently a reference to support every option.
why not making it simpler….traffic flow is a real-time numeric value and not a structured event. so it is a metric and not a log. Hence answer B.
Answer is C:

'If you want to use Log Analytics to analyze the data, you can navigate to Azure Monitor and select Logs to begin querying the data'
Graph visualization is possible in Log Analytics as well. Please see -

Hi guys, can someone tell us the format of the exam ? how many questions ? how many lab simulations ? the "Litware Acquired Fabricam" case is it a one question s
cenario ? thanks !
logs wouldn't have the data we need as we are looking at performance metrics for the VMs. Workbooks provide the ability to bring in disparate data sources to create an interactive dashboard for visualisation.
D is correct answer. Graph visualization is done using workbook.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/visualize/workbooks-graph-visualizations
The correct answer is D. From Azure Workbook, you create a new workbook, you select VM as resource type, resource scope as metric scope and then you select the two VMs you want to run metrics against. You can also configure the time range and the style of visualization you want for the chart
Answer is C.
If you want to use Log Analytics to analyze the data, you can navigate to Azure Monitor and select Logs to begin querying the data.

On exam 23 Dec 2021 and I chose C. Am not too sure if I answered correctly. Based on Azure monitor, there are three options "Monitor & Visualize Metrics", "Query & Analyze Logs", "Setup Alert & Actions" under overview page. The description of "Query & Analyze Logs" mentions that it says "Logs are activity logs, diagnostic logs and telemetry from monitoring solutions; Analytics queries help with troubleshooting & visualizations."
