DRAG DROP -
You are planning an Azure solution that will host production databases for a high-performance application. The solution will include the following components:
✑ Two virtual machines that will run Microsoft SQL Server 2016, will be deployed to different data centers in the same Azure region, and will be part of an Always

On availability group -
✑ SQL Server data that will be backed up by using the Automated Backup feature of the SQL Server IaaS Agent Extension (SQLIaaSExtension)
You identify the storage priorities for various data types as shown in the following table.

Which storage type should you recommend for each data type? To answer, drag the appropriate storage types to the correct data types. Each storage type may be used once, more than once, or not at all. You may need to drag the split bar between panes or scroll to view content.
NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

The question asks about "storage type", so shouldn't it be 'standard managed disk' for the last one?

" production databases for a high-performance application" = Premium managed disk over standard managed disk https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/virtual-machines/disks-types

"Speed and availability" so premium is the right choice Backup at "lowest cost" and key word is "backup" so LRS would do the trick

Answer is correct. Premium is SSD so it is the fastest. A standard MANAGED disk is also SSD so it is expensiver than a HDD disk. HDD disks are only available as a LRS account, so this is why the answer is correct. HDD disks will be the cheaper here.

Regarding the 3rd box question says "Two virtual machines that will run Microsoft SQL Server 2016, will be deployed to different data centers in the same Azure region, and will be part of an Always On availability group, how come the answer would be LRS, LRS replicates your data three times within a single data center in the primary region

You create LRS backup for each region

LRS is the redundancy option for the storage account where you archive your logs, this is not related to your SQL environment in any way. SQL servers use managed disks.

LRS storage for backups might still be on option: SQL Server IaaS Agent for SQL Server 2016 supports backups directly to blob storages https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/virtual-machines/windows/automated-backup
