The given answer is correct - Alternatively, you can navigate in the Power BI service to a dataset you want to analyze, and select the More options item for a dataset, report, or other Power BI item. From the menu that appears, select the Analyze in Excel option, as shown in the following image. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-analyze-in-excel#:~:text=%20In%20the%20Power%20BI%20service%2C%20navigate%20to,Enable%20Editing%20and%20then%20Enable%20Content%2C...%20More%20

The given answer is correct. 1. A. Install the Power BI Desktop app. WRONG "Analyze in Excel is a Power BI service feature, and is not available in Power BI Report Server or Power BI Embedded". Although it does not state is not a desktop feature, it says it is a service feature so can cancel option 1 out. B. Select the Spotlight button on the dashboard tile. WRONG, spotlight is around highlighting a visual on a dashboard hence the name "Spotlight" . C. Subscribe to the dashboard and follow the email link. Wrong this will keep you up to date with the latest dashboard info but not going to help you analyze in excel is it! D. Navigate to the report used by the dashboard. CORRECT so this leaves us with the only logical answer left, "navigate in the Power BI service to a dataset you want to analyze, and select the More options item for a dataset, report, or other Power BI item" from here you then click analyze excel so CORRECT answer.

Was just wondering, why aren't you investigating it yourself if the answer is correct or not, then you are learning something instead of relying on others.

Great contribution. But many people will still be insecure because a lot of questions are ambiguous. Hence, they need to clarify if they did actually understand it correctly
