Correct: A key mechanism that allows Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 to provide file system performance at object storage scale and prices is the addition of a hierarchical namespace.

Just to provide my personal understanding. The question asked about AAD authentication. Please note that Data Brick can connect to Storage through API using SAS key without any issues, then we would not require any additional configuration on Storage Account. However because we are asked to use AAD authentication, we will need to look into Lake Storage Gen2. To use Lake Storage, we will require 'hierarchical namespace' configuration. Please note that you cannot change this setting after storage account instance is created therefore must set this upon resource creation.

Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 implements an access control model that supports both Azure role-based access control (Azure RBAC) and POSIX-like access control lists (ACLs). You can associate a security principal with an access level for files and directories. These associations are captured in an access control list (ACL). Each file and directory in your storage account has an access control list. Access control via ACLs is enabled for a storage account as long as the Hierarchical Namespace (HNS) feature is turned ON. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/data-lake-storage-access-control#access-control-lists-on-files-and-directories Answer is B
