Correct answer B&E. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/tutorial-site-to-site-portal A. Not an answer as the Virtual Gateway is already configured dont get confused with the the word Virtual Gateway and Virtual Network Gateway. You create Virtual Network Gateway and Virtual Gateway is used for SKU purpose only. In the end they both are synonymous.

Incorrect Answers: a VPN gateway - VPN gateway already exists. a point-to-site configuration - We need to establish connectivity between on-premise and VNET1. So P2S configuration is not required. P2S is used to establish a secure connection from a computer. a VNet-to-VNet connection - It is used to connect two VNets. B and E are the right options

Updated answer: Answers A and E are correct. B (site-to-site connection) is a scenario and NOT A RESOURCE. You need a VPN gateway to place inside the Gateway Subnet and a representation of your on-premise location which would be E (Local Network Gateway)

B&E. It cannot be A because there is already a Virtual Network Gateway (VPN Gateway-VPNGW1) in place. You don't need 3 Gateways to establish Site-to-Site Connection.

To be exact, "connection" is an Azure Resource, is can be either created within the Virtual Network Gateway or directly by creating a resource type "connection", but "VPN Gateway" is not.

From pure deduction, answers MUST be A and B, even if it is counter-intuitive. Bear with me: - C makes no sense, the question relates to on-prem site network and azure, hence B is correct and C not. - D makes no sense either in this hybrid scenario - E is indeed necessary in the complete story, but the question specifically says "... in Azure". E is not in Azure and hence no valid answer. Only A is left as possible second selection.

sorry, disregard the above. B and E are correct. Was not aware that a local gateway is created in Azure as a placeholder to point at a local network. So B and E confirmed.

yep as Tita's other response says - you have to create a Local Network Gateway "in Azure" to house the connection details of your on-prem gateway
