The question says "you need to update the query" so creating a new query is not correct. The answer is NO

"You need to update the query..." "Solution: You create a new query..." *facepalm* Didn't know reading comprehension was going to be on my PowerBI test.

Selected Answer: B
It's B because the question requires us to update the existing query and not create a new one

Since working on the same query, Managing Parameters will not work.

can anyone further explain the answer? i dont know what's different in the answers between this and the previous question, thanks (as i think this answer is just a very high level way of describing the solution which looks similar to the previous answer)

I think it's because the previous solution was: "update the source" instead of the current solution - "create a new query". If you already has a path to load your data, you will have to modify the source path to the new parameter created and not create a new query.
