Answers are correct :Yes/NO/Yes Enterprise State Roaming (ESR) can be enabled only for users. If device accounts are in a group for which you enable ESR, device accounts are ignored. If User1 modifies the desktop background on Computer1, User1 will have the modified background when he is signed in to Computer2. ESR is enabled for Group1, which User1 is member of. Desktop background is one of the settings that is roamed by ESR. Because ESR is enabled for User1, the modified desktop background will be visible on all Windows 10 computers on which User1 signs in. That means that the modified desktop will be used also when User1 signs in to Computer3. If User2 modifies the desktop background on Computer1, User2 will not have the modified background when he is signed in to Computer2. ESR is not enabled for User2 (or for Group2, which User2 is member of). This means that if User2 performs customization at one computer, those customizations will not roam and will not be used when User2 signs in to a different computer.

The answer seems correct: -User1 and User2 can logon to computer1, computer2, and computer3. -User1 is a member of Group1, User2 is a member of Group2. -Enterprise State Roaming is enabled in contoso.com "only" for "Group1" and "GroupA". 1. Yes - If user1 modifies the background on Computer1, the background will be updated on Computer3 because Enterprise State Roaming is enabled for Group1 and user1 is a member of this group. 2. No - User2 does not have the Enterprise State Roaming enabled so background change will not be updated. 3. Yes - If user1 modifies the background on Computer3, the background will be updated on Computer2 and also on Computer 1 because Enterprise State Roaming is enabled for Group1 and user1 is a member of this group.

The question indicates that ESR is enabled on user group1 and device group A. The answer provided seems to discount the device group A. What if group B is in a different region than group A, would that change the answer? ESR information is stored regionally.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/managed-desktop/get-started/enterprise-state-roaming?view=o365-worldwide Enterprise State Roaming lets users securely synchronize user and application settings data to the cloud. This means they'll have the same experience no matter which Windows device they sign into. For example, if you replace one of their Microsoft Managed Desktop devices with a new one, it will look and behave exactly the same as the last one. Enterprise State Roaming is an optional feature for the Microsoft Managed Desktop service that you can configure for your users and isn't included or managed as part of Microsoft Managed Desktop. yassali has pretty much said it all so Yes No Yes is correct
