The given answer has copied options from same question but did not know that sequence is different here! So it would be ABC now.

I think the answer is A,B,C If there is ExpressRoute Gateway Subnet already exists. You must use a non-Basic SKU gateway for both the ExpressRoute gateway and the VPN gateway. So use VpnGw1 SKU. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/expressroute/expressroute-howto-coexist-resource-manager

Incorrect answers D - if Express Route exists then GatewaySubnet already exists E - Basic SKU is not supported in conjunction with Express Route setup => ABC Source (tks @niklaus): https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/expressroute/expressroute-howto-coexist-resource-manager

If the gateway subnet is /28 or /29, you have to first delete the virtual network gateway and increase the gateway subnet size. In this question, there is no delete gateway subnet option therefore create new gateway subnet is not valid. So steps are creating new gateways and set up the connection. Ba nd C are correct, then the last one to choose sku of gateway. ExpressRoute-VPN Gateway coexist configurations are not supported on the Basic SKU. So the answer is A, B C

For a site to site VPN, you need a local gateway, a gateway subnet, a VPN gateway, and a connection to connect the local gateway and the VPN gateway. That would be four answers in this question. However, the question states that VNet1 connects to your on-premises network by using Azure ExpressRoute. For an ExpressRoute connection, VNET1 must already be configured with a gateway subnet so we don’t need another one

The GatewaySku is only supported for VpnGw1, VpnGw2, VpnGw3, Standard, and HighPerformance VPN gateways. ExpressRoute-VPN Gateway coexist configurations are not supported on the Basic SKU. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/expressroute/expressroute-howto-coexist-resource-manager

The right resource is https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/expressroute/expressroute-howto-coexist-resource-manager It will prove that ABC is correct IF the gateway subnet is /27 or larger, if not then we need to delete the ER and the gateway subnet and then recreate with >= /27 but even in that case still BCD won't cut it as ER also needs to be created
