Hey Davidk, why CDE instead of BCE ? Basically including Warehouse setup and not to Item card. Cheers

Based on the question, nothing within the warehouse setup page would actually do anything to help solve the problems listed. Also, to have a SKU card, you first need an item card. Hope this helps!

i would prefer ACE - Inventory Setup --> Average Cost Calc. Type --> Item/Variant/Location Code - Create Stockkeeping Units to save the Unit Costs - Create Locations --> to allow different Location

Selected Answer: CDE
The correct answers are: C. Stockkeeping units D. Item card E. Locations Explanation: C. Stockkeeping units: Stockkeeping units (SKUs) in Business Central allow you to manage inventory at a more granular level. You can set up different SKUs for the same item at different locations (warehouses), each with its own vendor and pricing information. D. Item card: The item card is where you set up the basic information about an item. This includes the item's number, description, unit of measure, and other details. You can also link the item to its corresponding SKUs here. E. Locations: Locations in Business Central represent physical or logical storage places, such as warehouses. You need to set up a location for each warehouse, and then tie transactions to these locations. This allows you to track inventory, sales, and purchases by location.

Selected Answer: ACE
Why A? Transactions tied to a specific location --> Inventory Setup --> Location Mandatory. Otherwise it will be possible to have transactions without location. D is not necessary as the SKUs can be created with report.

In my opinion Answer should be BCE (Warehouse Setup, Stockkeeping Unit & Locations) because question is asking about different item pricing which can be part of creating stockkeeping unit in warehouse & transaction to be tied with location.

I think ACD. A because in Inventory Setup I would have to specify 'location mandatory'. C, because I should create SKU for managing different setup for different item-location relation. and E because I would have to create the locations. Regarding the item card, I should set that up independently of the specific location requirement.

Am I right in thinking that you're actually saying the answer should be ACDE? :) I think everyone agrees on C & E, and I'm leaning towards D over A. I understand what you're saying about A but the SKU will give you the location, so I would say configuring the item card is more important than setting Location Mandatory under Inventory Setup. I don't see how Warehouse setup is required for the scenario presented.

Do you know about Location Mandantory setup in Inventory setup? I think it is related to "transactions tied to a specific location"
