B The identities are on-premise for both EXO and on-prem but most likely you will want to configure the mobile access to utilize modern authentication which has MFA. Also this will allow you to have conditional access and ability to use app policies to protect your data. I think that it is on-prem because if you create an exchange online mobile device access policy the users who are on-prem will not be affected. Isn't it
