Clean Removal of Unwanted Solutions - Managed solution Stop others from editing Intellectual Property - Managed solution Edit the Solution directly - Unmanaged solution Explanation: - Deleting the Unmanaged Solution only deletes the reference to the solution, not the customisation components - Managed Properties are useful to prevent clients from deleting or editing customisations - You cannot Directly Edit the Components within a managed solution

1) Clean Removal of Unwanted Solution -- Clean Removal means no customization is lef behind when we remove the solution -- this is definitely Managed Solution 2) Stop others from editing Intellectual Property -- must be Managed Solution 3) Edit the Solution directly -- Unmanaged Solution

Typical exam question, ambiguous as ever! If "clean removal" means also removing the customizations associated with the solution, then Managed is definitely the right answer. I think this is what they are probably looking for here. If you assume "clean removal of unwanted solutions" simply means your customers can clean up their installed solutions list by deleting the solution, then unmanaged would be correct. But I think the implication of the "clean removal" is that it pulls out everything associate with the "unwanted solution". The implication is it's not just the solution file that's unwanted, but the whole solution contents.

1. Clean removal means once you delete the solution, all the functionalities are taken out. So with that in mind, how is this unmanaged? 2. Stop others from editing - It's common knowledge that Managed solutions cannot be edited, so...? 3. Edit the solution directly - to edit a solution it has to be managed... Soundharya...how did you come to these conclusions? Baffled.
