This should be Yes. You can sign in to https://portal.manage.microsoft.com with your Azure Ad account and access company apps and enroll the device in Intune

This should be Yes, the question is only stating that the device needs to be registered in intune. This approach is valid for registering a windows 10 device with intune. Auto enrollment has to be enabled (Azure premium P1). The device will be registered in Intune as a personally owned windows 10 device. When you login to the company portal website you will have the option to add a device, then you will be redirected to the settings blade to Accounts -> Access Work or School from there you can enroll your device with company credentials. It is maybe not what you want for a large company rollout, but nonetheless it's a valid way to add devices to intune. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/windows-enrollment-methods#user-self-enrollment-in-intune

These Questions and the provided answer are sometimes make you go crazy. Result from my Lab - freshly installed Windows 10 Enterprise VM, which was in the default Workgroup not domain-joined or Azure joined nor Azure registred. Went to the URL portal.manage.microsoft.com and logged in. Choosed devices and it promted again for Credentials. Checked after a few minutes in Azure->Yourtenant->Devices->Testdevice. Device is Azure AD Registred and MDM Microsoft Intune enrolled. Answer should be yes in my opinion. Grateful for feedback!

If you follow that link you get to page that says the following: "Getting this device managed might let you access other company resources available to you, such as email and documents. Go to Devices to get started." And when you click Devices you can enroll this device in Intune. A is correct answer.

Personally, looking at how this is done, the fundamental point is "Devices tab" you don't use that to enroll a device, this is done from the Home tab of the company portal. So, I'm sticking with No as my answer.

Selected Answer: A
The Company Portal apps, Company Portal website, and Intune app on Android are where users access company data and can do common tasks. Common task may include enrolling devices, installing apps, and locating information (such as for assistance from your IT department). https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/company-portal-app

It's confusing... I change to Yes, because of https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/mem/intune/enroll-devices-in-intune-tip#7 "Provide the following instructions to users so that they can use your company's management portal for enrollment: In a web browser, go to portal.manage.microsoft.com. ...." I believe in MS Docs, not in me =P

The URL opens the company portal website. Users can use the website to search for apps, install them, and view, edit, add, and remove their registered devices. Windows 10 is supported by different types of devices (including desktop, smartphone, and tablet). The registration steps are the same on all devices. On a Windows 10 computer that is part of a workgroup, you can download the free Company Portal app from the Microsoft Store or use the web to register your device for device management through Microsoft Intune. Alternatively, you can use the "Access work or school account" page in the "Accounts" area of the Settings app to register your Windows 10 device. If your computer is part of an Active Directory domain (AD DS), the integration can also take place automatically as part of the synchronization using Azure AD Connect.
