1. Open the page that contains the data to monitor (Released Products)
2. On the Action Pane, on the Options tab, in the Share group, select Create alert rule.
3. In the Create alert rule dialog box, on the Alert me when FastTab, in the Event field, select Record has been created.
4. On the Alert me for FastTab, select the desired option. If you want to send the alert as a business event, ensure that Organization-wide is set to No.
5. On the Alert me with FastTab, in the Subject field, enter an appropriate subject (The word Products should be included in the Subject or Message text for this question).
6. In the Message field, enter an optional message. The text is used as the message that you receive when an alert is triggered.
7. Select OK to save the settings and create the alert rule.

Why would it not be from the released product? Triggering the alert from the product master will just tell the user that a product master has been created, not a released product? also, the user Alicia needs to be specified in the "alert me with" tab

1. Go to Navigation pane > Modules > Product Information Management > Products > Product masters. 2. In the tab Options -> Share -> Create a custom alert. 3. In the Alert me when fulfill next: Table name Product Event: Record has been created. 4. In the Alert me for: Organization Wide – select as NO 5. In the Alert me with: Subject: type new info or leave the proposed UserID: is yours Message: New product released Email receipt: Alicia….. 7. Click OK and that’s it

The alert should be on the released products table, because that is what is added (created). The operation is triggered from the products table, but the resulting record is a released product record. Also, Alicia's user should be selected as the recipient of the alert in the Alert me with => User ID.

Alert should be created in Product Master. Then select "Product" in Table Name. Then select "Record has been created" in Event dropdown. (Because in question it is asked when record has been created and it is only available in Product Master)

The alert should be for Product Masters, not Relesed Products.
