SIMULATION -
Please wait while the virtual machine loads. Once loaded, you may proceed to the lab section. This may take a few minutes, and the wait time will not be deducted from your overall test time.
When the Next button is available, click it to access the lab section. In this section, you will perform a set of tasks in a live environment. While most functionality will be available to you as it would be in a live environment, some functionality (e.g., copy and paste, ability to navigate to external websites) will not be possible by design.
Scoring is based on the outcome of performing the tasks stated in the lab. In other words, it doesn't matter how you accomplish the task, if you successfully perform it, you will earn credit for that task.
Labs are not timed separately, and this exam may more than one lab that you must complete. You can use as much time as you would like to complete each lab.
But, you should manage your time appropriately to ensure that you are able to complete the lab(s) and all other sections of the exam in the time provided.
Please note that once you submit your work by clicking the Next button within a lab, you will NOT be able to return to the lab.

The answer is wrong. Instead local group policy/computer config/admin templates/windows components/windows updates/windows updates for business/select when preview builds and feature updates are received. This works on Enterprise.

Wrong; this method allow to pause Windows Update. To wait x days before installing new Fetaure Updates, the only way is to use Windows Update For Business GPO : under computer configuration> Administrative Templates > WIndows Components > Windows Update > windows Update For Business > Choose when Receive Feature Update > Active and Select 15 days after new Updates appear.

To defer Windows feature updates on Client1 for 15 days, follow these steps: Open the Settings app by pressing the Windows key + I. Click on "Update & Security". Click on "Windows Update" in the left pane. Click on "Advanced options". Under the "Choose when updates are installed" section, select "Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted)" from the drop-down menu. Set the "Feature update deferral" to 15 days. Close the Settings app.

We all know that you have to set the Preview Builds and Feature Updates are received policy. But we also have to pay attention that the Semi-Annual Channel must be set when you select it in readiness level, because Semi-Annual channel is available to the general public, Preview Builds being the opposite.

the question is wrong... In the windows update for business GPO you have the option to delay feature or preview updates. However it isn't stated anywhere how the updates are being fetched. So the given answer would be right if it would say that all updates are deffered by 15 days

C'mon guys, The answer is WRITTEN in the Settings. Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. The button "Pause updates for 7 days" says on the description: "Visit Advanced options to change the pause period". So, click Advanced options and under Pause updates just select a date 15 days from now.

I'm changing my opinion. I have to agree with Perycles. The task is to ensure that Windows FEATURE (not quality) updates on Client1 are deferred (not paused) for 15 days WHEN the updates become generally AVAILABLE. If you use the Settings app it will simply pause from today, not from when the updates become available. But I didn' find the policy that Perycles mentioned in his reply. So I would: open GPEditor, Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > windows Update For Business > Select when Preview Builds an Feature Updates are received, click Enabled, select Semi-Annual Channel and type 15 in the next box. Check this link with interesting pictures on this subject: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/update/waas-wufb-group-policy#manage-windows-update-offerings

windows ujpdate for business actually it is not specified nowhere that you are using windows update for business. I would have went with specikfy deadlines for automatic updates and restarts. But this doesn,t fully meet the golad. In my opinion a lot more information needs to be provided.

Actually I have tested this from Win10 Pro Build 20h2, and cannot see the defer updates under Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update -> Advanced options. However this could be changed through local group policy: https://www.howtogeek.com/286658/how-to-change-how-long-updates-are-deferred-in-windows-10/

But 15 days is less than 35 days.... so that would mean that the answer is correct?
