ABC is correct. Backup and Restore (Windows 7) wil create a shadowcopy which will make previous version available.

File history backup personal files by default, You can add a folder in backup options. Or Right click on a folder and choose "Include in library" the folder can make the folder included into personal files

If you go to the properties on a folder and select the "Previous Versions" tab it states: "Previous versions come from File History or from restore points." Therefore I believe ABC is correct.

Easy. https://pureinfotech.com/enable-previous-versions-recover-files-windows-10/ 1) File History (B and C). 2) using Restore Point (). 3) using Shadow copies (). I will test A, D, E and back. I don't see any profs in google...

Correct for me You can test, go to Folder properties -> Previous versions -> Windows says "Previous versions came from File History or from Restore Point"

Set up Backup and Restore (Windows 7) and include Folder1 in the backup creates a system image, it can't be used for versions history. D should add the folder to the libraries I think

but that's not the full question. "You need to ensure that you can recover the files in Folder1 by using the Previous Versions tab." That you'll get with C

OK, but set up Backup and Restore (Windows 7) backs up the whole system, it doesn't let you use previous versions. For this reason I wouldn't go for A. My answers would be BCD. As you say C and D have the same result

Backup an Restore (Windows 7) creates a system image and an ENTRY in the Previous versions tab (tested myself). You can choose any specific folder to backup, not the whole system. So A is also correct. D is wrong because activate index is only for search purposes, it has nothing to do with backup.
