Suggested Answer:
Box 1: cross-filter -
By default, selecting a data point in one visual on a report page will cross-filter or cross-highlight the other visuals on the page.

Box 2: cross-highlight -
Example:
By default, selecting a data point in one visual on a report page will cross-filter or cross-highlight the other visuals on the page.

1. Let's see what happens when we select Moderation.

2. Cross-filtering removes data that doesn't apply. Selecting Moderation in the doughnut chart cross-filters the line chart. The line chart now only displays data points for the Moderation segment.
3. Cross-highlighting retains all the original data points but dims the portion that does not apply to your selection. Selecting Moderation in the doughnut chart cross-highlights the column chart. The column chart dims all the data that applies to the Convenience segment and highlights all the data that applies to the
Moderation segment.

not affect, cross-filter You can see that the bar chart have the interaction switched off, therefore any selection on the line graph will not affect the bar chart. Map charts only offers a cross-filtering interaction, as you can visualize the interaction symbol is switched on.

I'm so confused with the answer.... the Bar Chart has the no impact icon switched on, so technically any filtering you do should not affect this visual.... and the Map Tile has the filter icon switched on so logically shouldn't the answer be Not Affected and Cross-Filter??

Why nobody says that not affect is a possible solution for the second drop down. What on the bar chart tells you that the filter will be applied to the bar chart?

The line graph is selected in the screenshot. You can see on the top-right of the map visual that the icon showing a few bars and a filter is filled in black. This means that the line graph is set to cross-filter the map.

as per my understanding the correct answers should be no affect and cross filter because we can see edit interactions are applied to the visuals

Why is everybody talking about the bar chart having interaction switched off? The first question is about the clustered column chart. It will surely be cross filtered.

I think it's A & C: -No effect on the first one because the interactions have been turned off for that visual -Cross-highlight is the default setting unless you change it in options, but here we can see cross-filtering icon is highlighted, so it's being cross-filtered
