Hello guys. Options should be: 1. Add the doc to sharepoint (Since you need team members to work on it, this is the right way to do it. You could also do it with onedrive, but this requires additional set up in order to share the info with the team members) 2. Create a link with read only properties, since you don't want the customer to edit the document. 3. Send the customer THE LINK (if you send the document, you are sending an editable copy of the document in SPO. By sending the link, you ensure that the customer access to the document with the proper read only rights that you have configured in your SPO environment) Regards!

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/solutions/collaborate-on-documents?view=o365-worldwide follow this link and you will see that de last step should be 'Email the customer and include the link to the document' I don't know how they can get this wrong.

The third has to send the link. Why else would you create a link to not share it. As well as what attachment are you sending?

1 - add the doc to sharepoint 2 - create a link, read only 3 - send the customer a link This is a cloud solution, no need to include the attachment, you send the customer to a link, they download/review the document.

I believe the 3rd answer should be: email link. This way customer will get the latest version of document. No need to have license to open it. Additionally in Admin Center->manage site collection-> allow external users. As this question does not say: answer represent complete solution

why wouldn't you sent the read-only link instead of the document as an attachment? what's the point of the link then?
