C is correct. 100%. Once you open security tab of the OU, press Advanced -> Add. Principal: select any user or group. In this case user account of the manager. Applies to: select descendant user objects. Then you will see the reset password checkbox.

C is correct. As others have said if you go into Advanced on the Security settings and select the 'Decendant user objects' option, Reset Password appears. The answers given are a bit rubbish because obviously they aren't clear... Oh well

This is what MS says to do but it works differently in the real world. Had to do this for a client and there were like 3 additional security permissions to change

Guys, for B, are you really going to make this change for each individual user? Microsoft can be ridiculous at times, but THAT ridiculous?

I agree, shoul be B. Answer C is not possible because reset password option doesn't exist for an OU.

B should be the correct answer. There is no "reset password" permission under Security settings of the OU in the Advanced View.

The security tab exists. Bu t you need to go to view and enable advanced features so you can see the OU's security tab...I cannot locate the "Passwor reset permissions" but i think C is correct.

You definitely can't do it from C. Unless you go down the "Delegate Control" route which isn't mentioned nothing other than B gets you the required functionality.

The right answer is B. You can not configure to reset the password of the users from OU Security Properties.

There's no security tab in OU properties. This could be implemented only via Delegate control of OU

I understood the reason why B is correct Option B means that I as an admin user delegate of password reset permission of a user I right-clicked in ADUC to the office manager as domain user.

If what this question MEANS when they use the term "security settings", is using ADUC, Delegate control, then yes, there is an option to allow the person being added, to "reset user passwords and force password change at next logon" among many other options. I can see this answer being correct.

No it’s b. I test in my lab. You can not set a user to have any right about password in ou. Only in user object.

Can confirm in my lab that there's no "change password" or "reset password" in the security settings of an OU. You can right click the OU and select "Delegate Control" which does what we want but it's not one of the answers. I have also not found a way to do what A is saying. You can definitely do B though, but it's tedious as heck if there's a lot of users in the OU.

It doesn't say but I believe the solution refers to the "Delegate Control" method, the preferred way to assign junior admins some level of control over AD
