Suggested Answer:
Box 1: custom service -
Custom service peak data volume is 1,000 records per hour.

Box 2: batch data API -
This scenario is best implemented by using batch data APIs, which has a peak data volume of 300,000 records per hour.

Box 3: OData endpoint -
Peak data volume for reading Odata status of orders is 5,000 records per hour.
This scenario is best implemented by using the OData service endpoints to read order status information.

Change place on first and last? 1. OData Endpoints 2. Batch Data API 3. Custom Service

How is it possible? Custom service has peak of 1000 per hour and the 3rd case says 5000 per hour. I think the given answer is correct.

But needs a calculation so custom service.

These are not absolute peak numbers but given in a MS documentation as 'typical scenarios' for integration solutions. CS can handle much more than that and also faster than OData.

I agree. The last one is Custom Service. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/integration-overview

The answer is correct as the Odata endpoints can handle up to 5000 Records per hour while the custom service is only limited at 1000 records maximum and the batch data can handle at around 200,000 records at once. This can be seen from this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/integration-overview#typical-scenarios-and-patterns-that-use-a-custom-service.

Can anyone explain to me what the difference between a custom service and just using Odata Endpoints are? Like looking at this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/integration-overview they shared same criteria for real-time data/peak volume/frequency for one case so how do you know which to use?
