I think that the correct answers should be: Yes - Although, The maximum depth of JSON objects in tags, desired properties, and reported properties is 10 (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-hub/iot-hub-devguide-device-twins#tags-and-properties-format) No - The device actually report that it's fanSpeed is equal to 73, so it will not be set, it's the current value reported to cloud No - The deviceID property is read only.
