Ans: D Inferned explanation: A blob that doesn't have an explicitly assigned tier infers its tier from the default account access tier setting. If a blob's access tier is inferred from the default account access tier setting, then the Azure portal displays the access tier as Hot (inferred) or Cool (inferred).

You need to rehydrate data in archive tier to access so answer is correct; D

answer E is the right choise. As it is clearly mentioned, the 3 three files are stored in block blobs and all available. Then the 3 files are all immediately accessible. btw, the archive tier here is not offline. This is not a tape media but a blob storage. Rehydration is not needed.

D is definitely the good answer. Everything else is wrong. Sorry.

To rehydrate you would have to change the access tier to hot or cool. See this warning when you open the details blade of an archived blob: "This blob is currently archived and can't be downloaded. Rehydrate the blob by changing the access tier to hot or cool in order to download"

The cool access tier has lower storage costs and higher access costs compared to hot storage. Example usage scenarios for the cool access tier include: Short-term backup and disaster recovery Older data not used frequently but expected to be available immediately when accessed.

No. as cool is also available to access immediately. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/storage-blob-storage-tiers#cool-access-tier
