Purchase orders can be managed also in D365 Finance, under "Account payable" module. So the first answer is Yes.

The answer is Yes to both questions. First Question Reason: https://ellipsesolutions.com/dynamics-365-for-finance-and-operations-focusing-on-purchase-order-returns/ Option 1: Open the **original** Purchase order used to procure the item. Yeah, you can maintain a Purchase order even after it has been received and invoiced. The link between the original purchase and the return is forever captured. Enter the item number of the item to be *returned* along with the quantity being *returned*, but with a *minus* sign in front of the quantity.

Question states clearly the company uses D365 Finance. There is no purchase order or return order function in Finance! It is only in Supply Chain! Trick question. I believe the first answer is No.

Correct. "The first step is to create a new purchase order to be used as the purchase return order." https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/procurement/tasks/create-purchase-return-order

I think it should be a purchase return order, not a purchase order (please refer to URL)

On the link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/procurement/tasks/create-purchase-return-order Says: to Create a new purchase return order The first step is to create a new purchase order to be used as the purchase return order." so I think its Yes, you can use a purchase orden to create a purchase return order.
