HOTSPOT - A company plans to use Power BI to visualize data from business systems. For each of the following statements, select Yes if the statement is true. Otherwise, select No. NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point. Hot Area:
Suggested Answer:
Box 1: Yes - The following list provides advantages to using aggregations: Query performance over big data - as users interact with visuals on Power BI reports, DAX queries are submitted to the dataset. Boost query speeds by caching data at the aggregated level, using a fraction of the resources required at the detail level. Unlock big data in a way that would otherwise be impossible.
Box 2: Yes - With Power BI Desktop, you can connect to many different types of data sources, then shape the data to meet your needs, enabling you to create visual reports to share with others. Shaping data means transforming the data: renaming columns or tables, changing text to numbers, removing rows, setting the first row as headers, and so on. Combining data means connecting to two or more data sources, shaping them as needed, then consolidating them into a useful query. DataSet is a memory-resident representation of data that provides a consistent relational programming model regardless of the data source. So Report can have one DataSet that contains data from multiple source.
It's very meta, but I find questions like this on Fundamentals exams are almost a product flex--the answer is almost always "yes" (or the answer that indicates more capabilities/fewer limitations of the product in question)
