Permanent Teams deletion is only possible from the Azure AD admin center. From Teams admin center the team is only soft-deleted. Just tested it. So correct answer should be: Azure AD admin center Teams admin center Azure AD admin center

I think this answer is correct. Don't look too deep into the question. It's very simple. To permanently delete it's AAD. Deleting from TAC then waiting 30 days for hard delete isn't a tool used to permanently delete. Also, I don't think you can archive a Team from the client. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/archive-or-delete-a-team

You can archive a Team from the client (tested in my lab), BUT you have to be a team owner, which the question clearly says you are not.

You are right, this is the correct answer. Restore a team is AAD Archive is team AD Permanently delete a team is AAD Same place you restore a team is same place you use to delete a till and the deleted mail can only be retained for 30days. You can also hard-delete a team by doing a soft delete and using the AzureAD PowerShell module to find the underlying deleted Microsoft 365 Group: Get-AzureADMSDeletedGroup

Agree. Additionally, for Permanent delete, you can go to AAD -> Groups -> Deleted Groups This is O365 Groups Recycle Bin where you can also search and restore those Groups.

To accomplish each compliance task in Microsoft Teams, you would use the following tools: Restore a deleted team: Microsoft Teams admin center > Teams > Action > View Deleted Teams > select the desired team, and then choose the "Restore" option. OR Microsoft Entra ID Portal > Groups > Deleted Groups > Restore Group (A team is attached to a group and when we delete a team its 365group will also gets deleted. So, if we restore the group the team will also be restored.) Archive a team: Microsoft Teams admin center > Teams > select the desired team, and then choose the "Archive" option. Permanently delete a team: Microsoft Entra ID Portal > Groups > Deleted Groups > select the desired Group, and then choose the "Delete Permanently" option. (Teams admin portal don't have any option to delete a group[/team permanently, it just soft delete the group/team.)

Guess an old question: RESTORE: Can be done from TAC, Azure and Teams client (only the Owner which is not the case) ARCHIVE: Can be done from TAC and Teams client (only the owner which is not the case) COMPLETELY REMOVE: Only from Azure (from TAC is a softdeleted action)

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/archive-or-delete-a-team clearly states that within TAC to "Select Delete to PERMANENTLY delete the team". So Azure/TAC/TAC is correct.

Wrong. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/archive-or-delete-a-team Delete a team If the team will not be required in the future, then you can delete it rather than archiving it. Follow these steps to delete a team. In the admin center, select Teams. Select a team by clicking the team name. Select Delete. A confirmation message will appear. Select Delete to permanently delete the team.

MOST RECENT ANSWERS: You can now archive a Team using Teams client. Clink on the settings bar in the left bottom corner -> you will be able to see all available teams and once you click on 3 dots option to "archive a team" will appear. Permanently delete a team -> this can be done only using Azure AD. Once team gets soft deleted (for example in Teams admin center) you can find it in Azure AD -> groups -> delete groups and there you will see option to permanently delete Restore a Team -> can be done in Azure AD

It specifically states: you are not a team owner, only Global Admin. Therefore, you cannot use the Teams client.

The question states "All compliance tasks must be performed by a user in the compliance department who will be assigned the Global admin role and will not be a team owner." This means you will not be able to perform an archive action through the client.
