Selected Answer: B
Service agreement defines the terms of service (e.g., frequency, pricing), but it’s not where you record actual part usage. But, the Service module is designed to manage service operations, including field service activities, maintenance, and repair tasks. It allows technicians to record parts used, track inventory in service vehicles, and log service activities. This ensures accurate inventory tracking and cost accounting for consumed parts.

The best option is the Service module. This module is designed to handle service management tasks, including tracking the consumption of spare parts used by technicians during their visits

The Service module allows you to create service orders and associate them with the specific maintenance tasks performed by technicians. When spare parts are used, they can be registered against the service order, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management. 📊 Additionally, the Service agreement can be used to define the terms of service, including the provision of spare parts. However, the actual consumption is recorded within the service orders in the Service module.

Pay attention to the question: ¨You need to determine how to capture the parts consumed¨- this speaks of configuration, hence service agreement is the best fit here.

There is no such a thing called "Service module", the correct answer is Service agreement - you capture parts in the lines of the service agreement

Service module, not the service agreement. Service agreement as a functionality does not serve the purpose of tracking consumption (those are Service tasks features).

C is correct answer. The service agreement is used to consume parts at a service.

In the service agreement form, you can capture the parts consumed. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/service-management/service-tasks Also, there is a line for materials in the service agreement line example.

Fixed assets is not a correct answer as the it did not allow to post a consumed spare parts from the inventory, the provided link presents the functionality from asset management which is different than fixed asset module, correct answer is "service orders"
