However, this option is no longer located under org wide settings as that has been deprecated. Instead it is now located in the Teams AC under Teams > Teams upgrade settings

Answer B is correct since ONLY Windows computers are in question for Teams client automatic installation. The same is mentioned in - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/setting-your-coexistence-and-upgrade-settings If the requirement is Teams setup on Andrioid/iOS then Intune is the best option.
