[All MS-700 Questions]

You have a Microsoft 365 subscription.
You create an org-wide team named Team1. Users named User1 and User2 are the owners of Team1.
You need to configure Team1 to meet following requirements:
✑ Ensure that only User1 and User2 can create new posts in the General channel.
✑ Prevent @mentions for the org-wide team members.
Which two actions should you perform from the Microsoft Teams client? Each correct answer presents part of the solution.
NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

  • A. From the Team1 settings, clear Give members the option to edit their messages.
  • B. From the General Channel settings of Team1, set the channel moderation preference to Anyone can post; show alert that postings will notify everyone (recommended for large teams).
  • C. From the General Channel settings of Team1, set the channel moderation preference to Only owners can post messages.

c and e correct Switch off @team and @[team name] mentions Press the ellipsis … next to the team name > manage team Press the settings tab > expand @mentions There are two options checked: Show members the option to @team or @[team name] (this will send a notification to everyone on the team) Give members the option to @channel or @[channel name]. This will notify everyone who’s shown the mentioned channel in their channel lists.

Weird one, the general channel doesn't support moderation. As per https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/change-moderator-roles-and-settings-in-a-channel-in-microsoft-teams-6ac54758-3440-4f6a-9bd5-cebf97cb7ea6 Note: Channel moderation is available for standard channels on Teams for desktop or web. It's not available for the general channel or private channels.

Actually Fun Settings does exist, under TAC >Teams >Manage Teams under Teams Profile Page is the gear icon where you can "Edit" to find "Other Settings". This contains "Fun Settings", which are things like giphy, stickers...so you really can be the Fun Police at work. Anyway answer is not this
