No. You just cant rename Measure column becuz it clearly states in question that Measures need to be visualized So answer should be Use the first row as header Unpivot columns other than Measure Rename attribute column to Year Change Data type of Year column to Date

Why Transpose? It's Redundant step, doesn't change anything.

Answers should NOT be like UNPIVOT because unpivot only applies to dimensions, not measures. Only thing technically .. when UNPIVOT measures, what data-type of the value column you are going to set ?

1) Transpose the table 2) Use first row as headers 3) Unpivot the table (as per year) 4) Rename the Measure column as Year This helped to make the fact table.

Correct answer is: 1. Transpose the table 2. Use first row as header. 3. Unpivot all the columns other than measure. 4. Rename the measure column as year. Incorrect Answers, 1. Measure/Year column contains only the year value, so it should be a whole number type, if we change it to date type, we'll get incorrect values. 2. We don't have to rename the Attribute column to year as after unpivoting, it will contain the following 3 fields (Revenue, Overheads, Cost of Goods) which is not the year.

Correct answer: 1. Transpose 2. Use first row as headers 3. Unpivot 4. Rename measure to Date As others said it is not actually needed to unpivot, as you can later create measures to have in the visuals. However, the other options are wrong and changing the type of year column to Date will give wrong results.

Change the datatype of year to date require you manually correct each value 1 by 1. I don't think it is correct

Yes its confirmed and verified personally...it goes like this, 1. Transpose 2. Use first row as header. 3. Unpivot all the columns other than measure. 4. Rename the measure column as year. Datatype change karne jaoge to "Din men taare dikh jaayenge"

Have tested it as well. This is the right sequence, 1. Transpose 2. Use first row as header. 3. Unpivot all the columns other than measure. 4. Rename the measure column as year.

I created an example. I think each measure should go into a different column, and we need traspose for that. With unpivot we get different measures in the same column. The solution seems to be as below, but the problem is that converting the Year column to date does not give a correct date. 1 - Transpose 2- first row as header 3- rename Measure to Year 4- Change the datatype of year to date
