"With Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop, you can access a computer running Windows with another computer that is connected to the same network or over the Internet just as if youwere sitting in front of the server." This is from the text that i had to read for the exam, so... answer is A.

The answer is a, this allows you to control the server 'as if you were seated in front of it'. RSAT does not meet the requirments of the question.

I think the question is misleading since both A and D are correct answers. A seems to give the desktop feel like you're sitting in front of the server, but RSAT allows you to run Server Manager and other Server Admin tools without the need for a remote desktop, which appears to answer the "why" RSAT was created. I'll go with "D" on my test, just in case.

D is for Terminal Services, and we are admins therefore we would not need to buy CALs again as admins. Answer should be A

D is an allotment of tools. You need to access using MSTSC, which is Remote Desktop Connection. In Theory that means A

The question is "which TOOL should you use?", D is the only one with the word tool in it. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2693643/remote-server-administration-tools-rsat-for-windows-operating-systems

The question is somewhat vague. Based on the specific wording the correct answer should be A.

I agree that the best option should be A, you have more configuration options in RSAT, but that doesn't implicit connecting to the server as you would be connected to it by plugging in a KB/Mouse and a monitor.

Definitely could be A or D, however A is the more correct answer. D does not represent managing the server as though you were sitting in front of it.
