Unless there's a technical reason for a question to be deprecated you always have to assume it's still relevant. Those comments make absolutely no sense and it'd be a crazy idea to prioritize because of them. Makes much more sense to mention in the discussion that and why a question seems outdated..

You don't find out what questions you got right or wrong - you can guess but you don't know. They are giving a heads up about what was asked so you can perform due diligence when studying, which I find incredibly useful.
