You create a KPI visualization in Power BI Desktop that uses the month as the trend axis. You discover that the data is not sorted by month. You need to change the sort order of the visualization. What should you do first?
COrrect answer is B . They have mentioned in question - "You need to change the sort order of the visualization." and changing visualization to something is a very generic answer . So you need to remove month from trend axis -> sort it by month number -> Again put it in Trend axis
So... I just tried this and my KPI just ended up blank? Am I doing this wrong? Can you use a KPI without applying any data in to the Trend Axis and just use Indicator and Target goals fields? How do you do this? Also how does the answer achieve what is being asked "You need to change the sort order of the visualization", if you remove the Trend Axis [assuming the Month Column value] from the visualization, then how would you sort the visualization by? By Target Goal value? The Indicator value? Where do you put the Month Column then? The answer doesn't make sense.... I would go with A logically.
C
"Modify the visual level filters," is the appropriate choice because it allows you to control the sorting order of the data within the existing KPI visualization. You can adjust the filter settings to sort the data by month, ensuring that it appears in the desired order on the trend axis.
A is correct, converting to different visual type just in order to view the month sequence, and then go to Table View, selecting the month column, and click “Sort by column” under Ribbon Tab “Table Tools”, selecting the “Sort by Month #”, and back to Visual interface, check the result (month(text) sequence), if ok, convert back to KPI visual.
Key Note: Once you convert the visualization to a KPI, there's no option to sort. You must sort it correctly now.

Create a custom KPI Card in a Power BI report, very interesting one not related to Exam.

i think it is B
sort the column that goes into the trend axis. Which means you will need to remove it first.

I think it's A after I read the references. But I met a problem experimenting with sorting. The KPI visuals stay the same when I sort the month ascendingly or descendingly (I sort before I turn the bar charts into KPI). What does that mean?
How do you do this? I have tried finding it... it only gives me the following options...Remove Field, Rename, Move to, New quick measure, Show items with no data & New group?
Correct Answer is A. "Once you convert the visualization to a KPI, there's no option to sort. You must sort it correctly now." --> https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/power-bi-visualization-kpi
To sort your month out you need to convert back to a visual, use the ascending or descending sort option and convert it back again to KPI. The KPI visual does not have a sorting option.
Answer is Definitely A. you can't sort on KPI but if you need to sort change it
to other visualization, go to sort option and then sort it and change the visualization back to KPI.
