Answer 1: No Because "Microsoft SharePoint Online" is one of the storage locations that is supported natively. "On-premises SharePoint" (a local SharePoint server) is not currently supported. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/organization-administration/configure-document-management Answer 2: No The document management feature is supported for SharePoint sites with "classic" and "modern" experience. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-documents-using-sharepoint

Answer is both NO. Why? Because question is clearly indicating that customer wants D365 SCM. On-premise SharePoint does not support (D365 F&O and SCM) but supports (Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dynamics 365 Field Service, Dynamics 365 Marketing, and Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation).

Correct Answer is Both No: Please read carefully and reply only sure answers not a guest people here only need correct answers not your opinion. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-documents-using-sharepoint Document management with SharePoint lets users manage common document types, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and create folders to save and manage those documents in customer engagement apps (Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Dynamics 365 Field Service, Dynamics 365 Marketing, and Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation), that are seamlessly stored in SharePoint.

I still say both no, but the first is for another reason: Microsoft SharePoint Online is one of the storage locations that is supported natively. On-premises SharePoint (a local SharePoint server) is not currently supported. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/organization-administration/configure-document-management

No to both - F&O does not integrate with SP, only CRM, and it does not require modern interface

From the reading, I guess operation apps can integrate with sharepoint on-premises. store lococation only supports sharepoint online.
